Aston Martin technical director steps down

Dan Fallows is stepping down as Aston Martin’s technical director. Aston Martin hired Fallows from Red Bull in two and a half years ago in 2021. He then joined the team officially in 2022. Fallows will leave the team before the introduction of former colleague Adrian Newey, next season. This is likely due to the poor performance of the Aston Martin car this year.

FIA clears Red Bull in ride height probe

The FIA cleared Red Bull of any wrongdoing after looking into claims that the team adjusted its car's ride height illegally between qualifying and races. The issue came up before the U.S. Grand Prix, when Red Bull's "T-tray" system, which affects the front-bib clearance, was questioned. To prevent any issues, the FIA added new rules and seals to ensure the car's ride height couldn't be changed. After checking Red Bull's cars and factory, the FIA confirmed that no rules were broken, supporting its initial ruling from the Austin race.

Villeneuve outraged over stolen father's statue

Jacques Villeneuve is angry after thieves stole his father Gilles' bronze statue from the Musée Gilles Villeneuve. The statue, a life-sized tribute to the racing legend, was stolen two weeks ago and cut off at the ankles. Jacques can't understand how someone could steal such a large, heavy statue without anyone noticing. The museum is offering a $12,000 reward to get the statue back, saying it is important to keep Gilles' memory alive.
