How much have the Las Vegas GP Ticket Prices changed in 2025?

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, although the newest addition to the F1 Calendar, has made headlines for 2 years running on its extremely expensive ticket prices. As the only race run fully by Formula 1, how has the series responded with 2025 ticket pricing? Can fans really afford attending the Vegas GP this year?

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is a spectacle. Racing over 200MPH down the Las Vegas Strip... and being able to WATCH cars race down the Las Vegas Strip is an opportunity that fans globally want to experience.

However, over the past 2 years (2023 and 2024), the GP has been heavily criticized for their exorbitant ticket prices. Formula 1 is already an EXPENSIVE sport to watch let alone attend... and ticket prices averaging around $1500 definitely have not helped.

Excluding fan sentiment, the series itself has acknowledged that the Las Vegas Grand Prix ticket sales have not been 'where they should be' - pivoting their strategy to use LVGP as a business case rather than a revenue driver.

"Ticket sales were softer, we've said that, but most year two events are. So that's where I think the ability to be really nimble and react to that, by creating products and pricing that actually resonates in the market, is probably something that we'll know more this year if we've got the data right." - F1 Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Prazer

2024 F1 Las Vegas Cost

Just after the 2024 race, I broke down the cost versus the 'fomo' factor of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Fans flocked to Las Vegas from far and wide... but with one HUGE caveat. They were not purchasing tickets directly from Formula 1 - with some not purchasing tickets AT ALL. While fans could somewhat easily afford a hotel room, flight costs, and food - it was the ticket itself that still set them back hundreds on the LOWEST end of the spectrum. $650 for a General Admission resale ticket... keeping in mind that this general admission ticket didn't even include food like every other ticket on the track. Meanwhile, at that time, 3 day Grandstand tickets were on resale for $1500 minimum.

Frankly, I also paid $800 for a ticket using the 'Lewis Hamilton' deal, which is still FAR and above what you pay for almost any other race on the calendar.

Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 Ticket Price Changes - 3 Day

Let's start off with the obvious here.... Prices have dropped across the board. I will give the Las Vegas Grand Prix that. However, what stands out to me is the still extremely high price tag for even General Admission offerings.

The biggest change... food and beverage are no longer included in General Admission, General Admission +, or Grandstand tickets. While, this is something that fans were calling for that would 'hopefully' decrease ticket prices.... Is the value still there to pay, let's say, $725 for General Admission tickets with NOTHING included.

Now, that being said, there are some deals that are MUCH more on par with other F1 tracks. I personally sat in the Lewis Hamilton Grandstand during the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix and at $875 this is a pretty standard grandstand cost for the 'more expensive' races, but certainly not the MOST expensive.

One note that I also want to make is that there are still MANY more hospitality options at the Las Vegas Grand Prix than nearly every other race, so those costs are much more telling to me. Significant drops in price across the board - with even some like Turn 3 Club and Bellagio Fountain Club cutting their costs in HALF.

... but for the average fan are these tickets still worth the high prices?

What about Single Day LVGP Tickets?

As with many other races, the Las Vegas Grand Prix will likely offer many single day options as the race gets closer!

As of now there is only one section that has single day tickets and their prices publicized.

Flamingo General Admission

Before we get into the pricing, there is a reason Flamingo GA is the least expensive offering for LVGP. The view... isn't great. Naturally, as a General Admission option, you have to show up very early to be able to stand on the railing and see the actual track. Additionally, there isn't much 'real estate' in terms of those spaces to stand. While there are many activations in this area that will keep you entertained, this is a budget option with a budget view.

  • Thursday (Practice) - $50
  • Friday (Qualifying) - $100
  • Saturday (Race) - $300

Naturally, LVGP has announced that more Single Day Tickets will be available later in the year - specifically, the summer. If I were a betting woman, this would be for General Admission and Grandstand offerings that have not sold a large portion of their 3 Day inventory.

What's new with the Las Vegas GP?

There are two NOTABLE changes to the Las Vegas Grand Prix. One is racing. The other is seating.

F1 Academy

F1 Academy - the all woman support series to Formula 1 will be making its Las Vegas debut!

The paddock will be situated separately from the Formula 1 Paddock, so check your tickets to see if you have a view of that paddock! The Heineken GA+ passes offer this as a perk to their purchase.

Turn 3 Grandstands

This area of the track has changed every single year that the Las Vegas Grand Prix has been in session. In 2024, there were no grandstands along Turn 3 - with an expanded Turn 3 Club and the Red Bull Energy Station taking up both sides of the track.

This year, however, there will be a Grandstand next to the Turn 3 Club as the Las Vegas GP finds the correct balance between GA, Grandstand, and Hospitality options. It's also interesting to note that Turn 3 Clubs' price was nearly cut in half - indicative of poor ticket sales. I sat along this turn in 2024 on the Thursday Practice Sessions, and while the club itself was nice - the view was only of one turn, there were no screens on the track, and there were no activations surrounding this area. This will likely change for 2025.

Turn 3 Grandstands will be priced at $1150 for the 3 days.

2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix Ticket Takeaways

Let's answer the key question: Is the price reduction enough to make the Las Vegas Grand Prix worthwhile?

Frankly, no.

There are a few ticket offerings that piqued my interest and that I can recommend to fans, but with the exit of free food and beverage while maintaining the highest ticket price on the F1 Calendar ($986 for non-hospitality offerings on average), Vegas certainly isn't heading for a sellout.

Where would I purchase tickets?

  1. Lewis Hamilton Grandstand - $875 for pit lane entrance and a very high speed part of the track.
  2. Flamingo General Admission - $400, the cheapest option with a limited view, but definitely a cost effective way to gain entry

If you're still set on traveling to Vegas - even without tickets, this could be a good option. If 2024 was any indicator of the Free Events at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, you will not be 'without' Formula 1 on your trip.

Tickets go on sale for the Las Vegas Grand Prix on April 9th at 12:00 PDT with ticket deposits closing on March 16th.
