How Norris' illegal lap revealed McLaren's unique approach

Lando Norris's corner-cutting in Saudi Arabia GP practice showed an interesting McLaren style, as Norris set a fast lap even after going off-track at Turns 1 and 2. His first lap of 1m28.340s was improved to 1m28.267s, but the corner-cutting would have been illegal in qualifying. McLaren’s approach involved carrying more entry speed into Turns 1 and 2, which worked well for Norris, as he was quicker through this section than Leclerc and Russell. This also showed different driving styles between Norris and Piastri, as Norris braked more carefully while Piastri pushed harder to gain time.

Why Ferrari hasn’t fully tapped into its car’s potential

Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur thinks their car can still improve, even though they haven’t made it to the podium this season. The car’s balance got better after a floor upgrade in Bahrain, but Vasseur said it’s tough to get the most out of it with such close competition. He pointed out that staying consistent is key, as small mistakes can cost many places. Vasseur believes the team needs to stay calm and focus on improving performance every weekend to fight for wins.

Miami GP combines racing with star-studded performers

The 2025 Miami Grand Prix will have a big music lineup during the race weekend. Kygo will perform on Friday, Kaskade on Saturday, and Pitbull will close the weekend on Sunday. Tiësto will play on the starting grid and after the race, and Maffio will perform before Saturday’s sprint race. Organizers say they want to give fans loud music, high energy, and a weekend that feels like a true Miami party.
