Domenicali extends Liberty Media deal through 2029
Stefano Domenicali has renewed his contract with Liberty Media for five more years, keeping him as Formula 1’s President and CEO through 2029. Since taking over in 2021, he has played a key role in the sport’s global growth, increasing fan engagement, sponsorships, and media rights deals. Before joining F1, he worked at Ferrari, Audi, and Lamborghini, where he held senior positions and contributed to major business expansions. Liberty Media praised his leadership, while Domenicali said he is excited to keep working on the sport’s success.

BBC secures exclusive F1 UK radio rights
BBC Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra, and BBC Sounds will be the only UK radio stations covering Formula 1 for the next three years. Damon Hill will join the 5 Live team in 2025, while Jennie Gow and Rosanna Tennant will report from the pit lane, and Harry Benjamin will commentate with Ben Edwards. Fans can listen to live race, qualifying, and practice coverage on 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra, and the BBC Sport website. The coverage team also includes Sam Bird, Alice Powell, and former McLaren mechanic Marc Priestley.

All eyes on Albert Park
The 2025 F1 season starts in Australia as Albert Park hosts the Grand Prix from March 14 to 16.
