McLaren ditches Castore for Puma deal
McLaren has ended its deal with Castore early and signed a new multi-year deal with Puma starting next season. This means McLaren will join other F1 teams like Ferrari, Aston Martin, Williams, and Stake F1 as Puma partners. Despite the change, Alpinestars will continue to supply McLaren with race suits and technical gear. Castore, meanwhile, is set to become Haas' official team wear supplier from next year.

GM delays engine debut to 2029
Cadillac will join Formula 1 in 2026 as the 11th team and will use Ferrari power units at first. General Motors has been approved to make its own power units starting in 2029. A new GM facility will open in Charlotte to produce these engines. Cadillac is developing its team at Silverstone under Team Principal Graeme Lowdon and will take over Ferrari's customer slot from Sauber, which will become Audi's factory team.

Hamilton buys Milan home to be near Ferrari HQ
Lewis Hamilton bought a new home in Milan’s fancy Porta Nuova area so he could be closer to Ferrari’s headquarters. The seven-time champion had a rough start to the current season but bounced back with a sprint win in Shanghai and a solid fifth-place finish in Bahrain. Despite ongoing struggles with qualifying and tire wear, he showed glimpses of improvement in recent races. His Milan purchase adds to a global property portfolio that includes homes in Monaco, London, Manhattan, and Aspen.
