Hamilton to work with Sainz's ex-engineer Adami at Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton will join Ferrari in F1 2025 and work with Riccardo Adami, who was Carlos Sainz's race engineer. There was some doubt before, but Italian media confirmed Adami's role. Hamilton is also bringing people he trusts, like Marc Hynes and former Mercedes engineer Loic Serra. Ferrari has changed the cockpit position of their 2025 car, fixing something Hamilton didn't like at Mercedes.

McLaren completes buyout of Arrow IndyCar Team

McLaren has become the sole owner of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team after completing its buyout of Sam Schmidt and Ric Peterson's remaining shares. McLaren first bought 75% of the team in 2021 and later became the sole owner. Schmidt and Peterson are proud of the team's success but feel sad about leaving. For the 2025 season, Arrow McLaren will have three cars, with McLaren CEO Zak Brown saying that full ownership is important for the company's future in North America.

How Hulkenberg fell short in F1

Nico Rosberg pointed out that Nico Hulkenberg never lived up to the big expectations set for him in F1. Hulkenberg raced in 227 Grand Prix but never reached a podium, even though he got a pole position in his first season. Rosberg said Hulkenberg struggled with team relationships and sometimes wasn’t good enough. However, he also praised Hulkenberg’s strong performances, especially in qualifying during 2023.

Vasseur blames flexi-wing delay for Ferrari's title setback

Ferrari's team principal, Fred Vasseur, said that flexi-wings and the FIA's failure to act more decisively on them were crucial in the 2024 constructors' championship. Ferrari and Red Bull asked the FIA to clarify the legality of flexing front wings from McLaren and Mercedes. While the FIA introduced cameras to monitor the wings, it ultimately ruled them legal, which frustrated Vasseur due to the time and cost implications for Ferrari. He explained that even small performance gains from flexi-wings could make a big difference in a tightly competitive field, like at Monza, and Ferrari's late move to implement its own flexi-wing package may have hurt its title chances.
