Alunni Bravi linked to Hamilton MotoGP project

Former Sauber F1 team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi is said to be helping Lewis Hamilton invest in a MotoGP team. Hamilton, a big fan of MotoGP, had talks with KTM Motorsports about a possible deal in 2024, confirmed by KTM's Pit Beirer. Fangio's iconic Mercedes could break auction record

A legendary Mercedes W196 Formula 1 car, driven by Juan Manuel Fangio and Sir Stirling Moss, will be sold at auction in May for an estimated £42m (€50m). This could set a new record for the most expensive F1 car ever. The car won nine of the twelve races it entered during the 1954 and 1955 seasons. The current record is held by another Mercedes W196, which sold for £24.2m in 2013. Bonhams chairman Robert Brooks called the upcoming auction a big moment in motorsport history, as this car is seen as one of the most important Grand Prix cars ever to be sold.

Palou’s F1 prospects have faded due to legal battles over his IndyCar contract, despite coming close to a McLaren F1 opportunity in 2022. While Palou’s F1 door seems closed, Oakes has a strong pool of drivers at Alpine, including Pierre Gasly, Jack Doohan, and rising talents like Paul Aron and Franco Colapinto.
