F1 reveals star-studded lineup for season launch
F1 has confirmed that British comedian Jack Whitehall will host the F1 75 season launch at the O2 Arena in London alongside F1TV’s Laura Winter, Lawrence Barretto, and Ariana Bravo. Musical performances will include Kane Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, Brian Tyler’s We Are Dreaming, and Take That. Each F1 team will have a seven-minute slot to reveal its 2025 livery, with some teams already showcasing their cars in different liveries before the event. The launch will be streamed live on F1's social media and broadcasted by F1’s official partners.

First driver penalized under new FIA swearing rules
Swearing in FIA championships over the weekend showed how strict the new misconduct rules are for Formula 1 drivers. These rules include penalties that get tougher, starting with fines and ending with a suspension after three offenses. In the WRC, Adrien Fourmaux was fined for swearing on live TV, but most of the fine was suspended because of his good behavior and apology. F1 drivers like Carlos Sainz think swearing on the radio should be punished less, but TV interviews could still lead to penalties.

Schumacher family appeals lenient sentence in extortion case
The Schumacher family is appealing the verdict in the extortion case where three people threatened to release photos of Michael Schumacher unless they were paid 15 million euros. Yilmaz T. got three years in prison, while his son Daniel L. got a six-month suspended sentence, and Markus F., a former security guard, got a two-year suspended sentence. Corinna Schumacher stated that Markus F. was the mastermind behind the plot and should face a harsher punishment to deter similar crimes.
