FIA dismisses McLaren's right of review petition
McLaren's attempt to review Lando Norris's five-second penalty from the United States Grand Prix was rejected. The penalty for overtaking Max Verstappen off-track dropped Norris from the podium and cost him three championship points. McLaren presented new evidence to the original stewards as per FIA regulations, but it was deemed insufficient. As a result, the review was dismissed, and the penalty remains in place.

Colapinto linked to possible loan to Red Bull or Audi
James Vowles didn't rule out that Franco Colapinto could go on loan to Red Bull or Audi since Williams has its 2025 lineup locked in. Colapinto has done well since replacing Logan Sargeant, as he finished eighth in Azerbaijan and tenth in the U.S. GP, making him attractive to teams like Red Bull and Audi. Vowles mentioned that while talking about a loan is delicate, if Colapinto isn't racing elsewhere in 2025, he will stay with Williams as a reserve driver.

Verstappen rues 'useless' practice day in Mexico
Max Verstappen's first day at the Mexico City Grand Prix was frustrating due to ongoing power unit issues that made his practice sessions nearly useless. He reported an issue late in FP1, which forced him to miss the last five minutes, and during FP2, a "weird noise" led to him ending the session after just four laps. Verstappen felt disappointed about his limited running, saying it was a "pretty much useless day." Red Bull's Helmut Marko mentioned they were dealing with a recurring problem but assured it wasn't serious and needed to be fixed before the final practice session.

Alex Ablon tries mate with his new 'mate'
After bringing it up in a prior interview, Franco Colapinto got Alex Albon to try mate for the first time while in Mexico City. The Argentinian has been making waves in the F1 world for his comedic energy, and it's fun to see that translate into the Team Torque content. Take a look!
Vowles sees plenty of opportunities ahead
The Williams team principal talks about the United Grand Prix and how the team did its best to perform to capacity, even if they didn't get everything entirely right. He answered questions about what happened to Albon's car and how the team repaired it, how they will keep motivation up after tough results, and how they expect Franco to contribute his experience, among other things.
