Lando Norris claimed the victory in Abu Dhabi helping McLaren clinch the Constructor's title for the first time in 26 years
It all came down to this! Ferrari and McLaren went into the final race of the season being separated by only 21 points, making the fight for the Constructor's championship extremely close. Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc were separated by 8 points in the fight for P2 in the Driver's championship. Alpine and Haas were in a fight and it is Jack Doohan's very first Formula 1 race ever. - Lando Norris started on pole ahead of his teammate, Oscar Piastri, and the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz
- Charles Leclerc started the race from P19 after receiving a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding the number of energy stores this season
- Norris was able to hold onto his position during the race start but Max Verstappen took out his teammate, Oscar Piastri, causing him to drop to the back of the pack
- This was disastrous for McLaren's championship fight
- Max Verstappen received a ten second time penalty for this incident, which he served on his first pit stop
- Sergio Perez had a nightmare of a first lap after colliding with Valtteri Bottas
- The Mexican had to retire after the first lap
- Franco Colapinto made contact with the McLaren of Oscar Piastri which caused some damage
- Colapinto had to retire on Lap 26 due to a power unit problem
- Oscar Piastri also received a ten second time penalty for causing a collision with Colapinto
- Valtteri Bottas made contact with Kevin Magnussen on Lap 30, causing a puncture and resulting in the Sauber needing to retire from the race
- A very disappoint result for Valtteri Bottas's last race in Formula 1 for the foreseeable future
- Liam Lawson unfortunately had to serve a ten second stop/go penalty after his team didn't secure his front left tire correctly
- This is extremely dangerous, not only for the driver but also for the other cars on track
- The stewards noted Guanyu Zhou for a false start and gave the Sauber driver a 5 second time penalty for the infringement
- Charles Leclerc has had an incredible race and climbed his way up from P19 into the top ten
- McLaren need to win the race to secure the championship but Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are making it a very tough fight
- Liam Lawson caused a yellow flag in sector two on the final lap of the race
- It didn't affect the race ending
- Lando Norris claimed the victory in Abu Dhabi ahead of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc
- McLaren have won the Constructor's championship for the first time in 26 years!
