A style rundown from Pit Lane - from special livery to helmets to race suits and fashion from every race weekend.
With the 2024 Canadian GP underway, Pit Lane and FanAmp want you to switch the red lights to green because we're lights out and away we take a look at paddock fashion and merch lines from Hamilton, Yuki, Norris, Gasly, and so many more for the Canadian Grand Prix!
It’s good to be back for yet another exciting Formula 1 race on the calendar—and this time, we’re headed to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix. Windy, rainy or hot, these Formula 1 drivers have never ceased to amaze us! From Lewis Hamilton’s sweater weather to Pierre Gasly’s new summer merch drop for Thursday’s Media Day, here are our top seven favourite looks of the drivers gracing the paddock.
Lewis Hamilton
Out of the many drivers, fans undoubtedly anticipate for Hamilton’s paddock appearance. When it comes to Hamilton and his paddock style, nothing is to be questioned—sporting a brown-toned wool cardigan and pants as an outfit, Hamilton’s sense of style is top-notch. Even his chukka boot is of the same colour palette! The seven-time World Champion always shows up on the track perfectly thinking of what he wears—well, it’s called the ‘Lewis Hamilton Fashion Week’ for a reason.
Yuki Tsunoda
Take it from us, recently we’ve had our eyes set on Tsunoda. And nothing ever goes wrong with minimalism—for Tsunoda, layering the classic HUGO logo t-shirt with a matching colour-set outer and pants is the answer.
Oscar Piastri
The Australian driver for McLaren seems to have a thing for casual attire—and for his entrance to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, he’s seen sporting an OFF-WHITE™ BRUSH ARR SLIM HOODIE in Black along with a pair of jeans to complete his laid-back paddock look. Did anyone notice Piastri laid his hands on a camera? Apart from being a Formula 1 driver, it seems apparent that he’s trying to take on the role of a photographer—he definitely has what it takes for a career shift (if you know what we mean).
Zhou Guanyu
Really, Zhou? Name us one thing that he can’t do—because not everyone can rock Lululemon’s Lab Metallic Quilted Bomber Jacket, a bucket hat, and a pair of eyeglasses the way he did! We’ve seen him walking the paddock like it’s a runway with a range of styles—from sophisticated designer wear to casual sporty outfits, Zhou’s versatility never fails to rev up the paddock.
Lando Norris
Of course—when it’s not hoodies, we’d see Norris in a plain t-shirt. This time keeping his cap away from the cameras and paddock, Norris exuded a sophisticated minimalist look for Canada’s drenching summer. With a plain navy blue t-shirt, Norris paired his top with a pair of trousers from the fashion label Kith—made out of woven fabric, the pinstriped pants come with a slight tapering for a balloon fit, giving off a final wide-leg silhouette. For the summer, it screams Lando Norris in so many ways.
Daniel Ricciardo
Along with the grey jeans, Ricciardo strolled into the Canadian Grand Prix paddock donned in Alpinestar’s limited edition white RSRV Armor Hoodie. Handcrafted by artisans in Italy, the casual oversized hoodie utilizes fleece and repurposed deadstock Bionic Action Protection Jacket from Alpinestars materials—displaying a broad-shouldered and armoured article of clothing.
Pierre Gasly
Like many other Formula 1 drivers, Gasly owns his merch line—for this Canadian Grand Prix, his new summer drop collection, Never Give Up, debuted on the circuit. The Frenchman donned his organic cotton hoodie in the colour sand, along with an upside-down green snapback and black pants. Also, take a peep at his wrist—the watch is not to miss, especially with its strap of the same colour palette.
