See how the teams are looking after the final free practice session
The third practice was a calm respite relative to the red flagged practice sessions on Friday. Here's what you need to know:
- Max Verstappen returned to the track after reporting issues during Free Practice 1 and sitting out Free Practice 2. He posted times competitive with the likes of the Ferraris and McLarens
- Mercedes worked through the night to get George Russell's car back on track after a crash in practice Friday. Both he and Lewis Hamilton were able to post lap times in the top 5
- The McLaren and Ferrari drivers traded places at the top of the timesheet during the session
- Alex Albon, whose collision with Ollie Bearman during Free Practice 1 precluded him from running in FP2, was back in the mix. Both he and Franco Colapinto posted lap times worthy of the top of the midfield
- Stake drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu had a rather unevent session, as did the Aston Martin and Alpine teams
- Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson posted strong lap times, sitting just behind the top of the pack alongside Williams
