Accel and HPS to buy 25% stake in €1.8B Aston Martin deal
Aston Martin hasn’t had a great year on the track in 2024, but they’re doing well in other areas. They’ve made a deal with Adrian Newey, built a new factory, and signed Fernando Alonso for the future, which has caught the attention of investors. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc both indicated that the true effectiveness of the upgrade will only be evident at tracks like Austin, where high-speed and medium-speed corners are more common. Leclerc thinks Ferrari is still behind McLaren and Red Bull, and Sainz agrees that more tests are needed.
