The drivers were pushing the limits at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Singapore is a highly anticipated night race and one of the favorites on the whole F1 calendar. See who is looking strong before the sun set in Singapore:

• Kevin Magnussen is back in the car after having to sit out in Baku due to a race ban from exceeding the allowed amount of penalty points
  • OIlie Bearman was his replacement and finished in P10 in Azerbaijan
• Mercedes, McLaren and RB are all presenting a special livery for the night race
• Oscar Piastri's McLaren was seen having some issues before he even got into the car
  • The team was completing practice pit stops when one of the rear tires got jammed on
• Liam Lawson has been seen in the RB garage which is leading to lots of speculation about Daniel Ricciardo's future
• After scoring double points in Azerbaijan, Franco Colapinto and Alex Albon are both looking very strong for Williams again
• Pierre Gasly was doing some data gathering for his team and was driving with flow vis paint all over his Alpine
• The commentators were excited by free practice 1 as they felt the drivers were pushing much more than normal for a practice session and treating it more like qualifying
• Haas struggled in this practice session with Kevin Magnussen finishing in P17 and Nico Hulkenberg finishing in P20
• Charles Leclerc topped the session ahead of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz
