F1 to enhance aerodynamic performance of 2026 cars

Formula One and the FIA have confirmed changes to the 2026 regulations and improved the aerodynamics of the new cars. These cars will be 30kg lighter, use active aerodynamics, run on fully sustainable fuel, and have power units with much more battery power. The sporting and financial rules are also being updated to make them simpler and more balanced. All these changes still need approval from the World Motor Sport Council on October 17.

Is this why Red Bull passes on Tsunoda?

Nico Rosberg said that Yuki Tsunoda is doing well at VCARB, but his inconsistent performance and aggressive attitude are why Red Bull has not promoted him. Tsunoda's contract was renewed for a fifth year, but Liam Lawson will race alongside him for the last six races of the season. Rosberg praised Tsunoda's talent but noted that his attitude may have caused him to miss out on a chance with Max Verstappen. With Lawson joining and Sergio Perez needing to step up, Rosberg pointed out that Red Bull is in a tough spot after losing their lead in the Constructors' Championship to McLaren.

Jackie Stewart's foundation raises £4.5m for dementia research

Sir Jackie Stewart, a three-time Formula One world champion, started 'Race Against Dementia' after his wife was diagnosed with the disease ten years ago. His foundation recently announced a program to fund six research teams with a total of £4.5 million, giving each team £750,000. This money will help speed up the search for ways to prevent and cure dementia by encouraging new and creative ideas.

Circuit of the Americas invites Ricciardo to US Grand Prix

Circuit of the Americas Chairman Bobby Epstein has offered Daniel Ricciardo the chance to attend the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix despite his exit from Red Bull. Ricciardo's F1 career seems to have ended after the Singapore Grand Prix, with limited opportunities left for 2025. Epstein expressed that Ricciardo is still highly regarded by fans in Texas and could have a positive impact outside of racing. He hopes Ricciardo will spend time with fans during the event, as many would love to see him there.
