Piastri secured his maiden victory with a broken rib

Oscar Piastri disclosed that he fractured a rib earlier in the F1 season. He posted photos on X, including an X-ray dated July 8, the day after he finished fourth at the British Grand Prix. His chances of a podium were affected by McLaren's strategy, which required him to do an extra lap in worsening conditions. Audi eyes IndyCar champion Palou for 2025

Red Bull details Perez-Verstappen speed gap
