Belgian Grand Prix FP1 Results

The drivers took to the track for the first practice session of the Belgian Grand Prix weekend. See who topped the timesheets:

It was announced that Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda will receive grid penalties for the race
The track was dry for the entirety of the session despite the looping 30% chance of rain
Esteban Ocon barely started the session before returning to the pits so his team could figure out what was wrong with the car
- Alpine have been struggling with reliability issues the past two Grand Prix weekends with Pierre Gasly having two DNFs
- Alpine brought a speciality livery this weekend paying homage to the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie that has just been released
Sergio Perez was struggling during the session to get a feel for the car
Max Verstappen topped the session ahead of Oscar Piastri and Alex Albon
