Sargeant and Leclerc crashing, Alonso towing, and Norris running out of tires
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Logan Sargeant was too late on the breaks and crashed, red flagging SQ1 early
- Alonso gave Stroll a tow in the final seconds of SQ2 to keep his teammate from dropping out
- Norris was forced to finish P10 in SQ3 due to the new rule change. He used his allocation of soft tires and was unable to go out on a new set
- Charles Leclerc crashed in the final lap of SQ3 but retained his P1 finish
