Find out which teams look the strongest after the final practice session of the weekend
The energy during the third and final practice session of Bahrain was tepid. Here's what you need to know:
- Both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez continued to run their Red Bull cars in the bottom half of the timesheet for most of the session. Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen each jumped to #1 with ~15 minutes remaining, proving that everyone expects the team to turn things up significantly for Qualifying
- Fernando Alonso was the first driver to move the session into the 1:30s with his teammate Lance Stroll trailing him
- Stake F1, Alpine, and Williams finished in the bottom half of the timesheet
Unrelated to the on track action, it was also confirmed that McLaren's Lando Norris has already used his entire energy store quota for 2024, putting the team on their back foot before the season is even off the starting line.
