McLaren wins World Constructors Championship
For the first time since 1998 - McLaren has won the World Constructors Championship after Lando Norris' race win in Abu Dhabi. Drivers Norris and Piastri drove a well-fought battle against Ferrari (in P2) this season with Norris saying, "Next year's going to be my year, too" after the end of the grand prix.

F1 waves goodbye to a handful of drivers today
Four drivers could be racing in F1 for the last time at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou are both out of Sauber after the team opted for a new line-up in 2025, while Bottas may return to Mercedes as a reserve driver. Despite having a contract, Red Bull's Sergio Perez faces uncertainty, and Kevin Magnussen will leave Haas to race sportscars for BMW. These changes will shake up the F1 driver line-up for 2025.

Lewis Hamilton has played a key role in making the 'F1' film realistic by helping with the script and offering technical advice. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer praised Hamilton for pointing out details like the correct gear shifts and engine sounds. Hamilton also stressed how fit drivers need to be, which helped Brad Pitt with his training. The production team isn’t worried about leaked footage, believing it actually builds excitement for the film.

Bottas' £4,100 dinner bet pays off in qualifying
Valtteri Bottas shared that he got special help in qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after he paid the £4,100 bill for the annual F1 driver dinner. Seventeen drivers attended, with Kevin Magnussen and the Aston Martin pair being the only ones missing. In 2024, Lewis Hamilton hosted the dinner, and Bottas covered the cost. Bottas, who organized the 2024 dinner, benefited from "nice tows" in Q1, helping him secure a place in Q3 and qualify ninth. While Bottas acknowledged that his time with Sauber may end with regret, he remains hopeful of scoring his first points of the 2024 season.

Haas boys sit down one last time
The Haas boys, Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg sit down for the last time as teammates to look back at some of the standout moments of their time together.
