Ex-Alpine boss targets new team with U.S. funding

Former Alpine team principal Otmar Szafnauer is working with American investors to start an 11th Formula 1 team. Since leaving Alpine last year, Szafnauer, who has worked with several F1 teams, has been exploring new opportunities. On the James Allen on F1 podcast, he said he wants to be involved in a role that improves team performance. Even though adding another team to F1 is controversial, Szafnauer's project is making progress and could be a real possibility.

Did Sainz make the right choice joining Williams?

Sargeant at risk of mid-season dismissal

Williams team principal James Vowles has not ruled out replacing Logan Sargeant this season if he doesn’t improve. Sargeant is set to be replaced by Carlos Sainz at the end of 2024, but he might be dropped earlier. He has struggled compared to teammate Alexander Albon, who outscored him significantly last year.
