Rwanda in talks to host F1 GP

Formula 1 will hold talks with Rwanda next month about the country's plans to host a grand prix. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali confirmed that Rwanda's proposal for a permanent track is advanced and promising. Rwanda's interest in motor racing is growing, as seen by their attendance at the Monaco Grand Prix and their hosting of the FIA Annual General Assembly in December.

Mercedes’ wins won’t affect Antonelli

Haas unveils changes behind 2024 resurgence

Haas is in 7th place with 27 points from the first 14 races and is close to their best finish since 2018. Team principal Ayao Komatsu has made changes to improve teamwork and avoid blaming people. Even with fewer resources, Haas has made effective upgrades, like the improvements to the VF-24 that helped Nico Hulkenberg finish 6th. Losing Hulkenberg to Sauber is a loss, but the 2024 season is still one of Haas's best.

Domenicali backs reverse grids for sprints

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali likes the idea of reverse grids for sprint races and is open to talking about it again, saying it could make racing more exciting. The idea has been suggested before but hasn't been widely accepted in F1. Some people think reverse grids are just a gimmick and better for junior categories, even though they are used in F2 and FIA F3. "We can again discuss if there is the need to reverse the grid, or half of the grid like F2 and F3 are doing." He continued, "So these are always things to keep the mind alive, if I may say, with the intent to keep something always interesting. Personally, I would say, why not? It's a lot of action. It is overtaking. You're fighting for points."
