Newey warns 2026 regulations will slow cars

Red Bull's Chief Technology Officer, Adrian Newey, has warned Formula 1 fans to prepare for "a lot slower" cars once the 2026 regulations come into play. He believes the current generation of F1 cars may be the fastest for a while due to proposed alterations, which will come into play in three years. The new power units will run on fully sustainable fuels, the electrical power component will be enhanced, and the power units will still deliver over 1,000 horsepower. F1 is looking to remain fast and exciting while promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Ecclestone questions Hamilton's Ferrari move

Former F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone has weighed in on the rumors linking Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari. Ecclestone questioned why Hamilton would want to join a team that is in love with Leclerc, as he would still want to be connected with Mercedes. Ecclestone believes Hamilton will want to push on with Mercedes as he chases the record-breaking eighth World title. Despite speculation that he would be better off at Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton has made it clear he wants to continue in Formula 1 with Mercedes and hasn't signed a contract yet. Meanwhile, Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko believes Hamilton wants a pay raise and that Max Verstappen's salary is $20 million higher than his with Mercedes.
