The sun has finally set for FP2! See who is looking strong out on track and who looks to be struggling
The drivers took to the track for the second practice session of the Grand Prix weekend. Charles Leclerc topped the session for free practice 1. See who looked strong on track after FP2:
- Because the sun has set in Singapore, the track temperature has now cooled down by a couple degrees
- McLaren's rear wing caused some uproar after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
- Many people were questioning its legality as it seemed to have a mini DRS flap
- McLaren are offering to change the rear wing to make sure it stays compliant with the FIA regulations
- Max Verstappen seems to be struggling on track, he says that the car feels very sensitive when it goes over the high kerbs
- Franco Colapinto accidentally pulled into the Alpine box when he was trying to pit for Williams
- Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc have been consistently trading places at the top of the timesheets
- They seem to be the strongest out on track at the moment
- The RBs looked to have a good practice session with Daniel Ricciardo finishing in P6 and Yuki Tsunoda in P4
- George Russell found himself in the barriers with only two minutes left in the session
- He was able to make his way back into the pits but his front wing was completely destroyed
- Lando Norris topped the session ahead of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz
