The energy ramped up in the second session of the day.

Alex Albon's damage from the morning practice was still not repaired by the start of the session. Logan Sargeant's car, while it ran without failure earlier in the day, was also being worked on. The two drivers made it back in time for the second half of the hour
The drivers kept testing the kerbs, with many scenes of the cars flying with all four wheels in the air. Track limits were also an issue
Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri dominated the timesheet, sitting at or near the top for the majority of the session. It was emblematic of a session where teams uneventfully stayed focus on feeling out the track and collecting data for later in the weekend
