Hinchcliffe signs deal with FOX to return to IndyCar Role
James Hinchcliffe has finalized a deal with new IndyCar Broadcast Network, Fox Sports to resume his role in the IndyCar broadcast booth. He is expected to partner with returning commentator Townsend Bell and have a new addition in the booth of longtime F1 Presenter Will Buxton. It is expected that Will Buxton will step into the lead anchor role previously held by Leigh Diffey who will now commentate NASCAR races.

Checo will assess F1 options in 6 months
After being released from Red Bull Racing late last year and replaced by Liam Lawson, Sergio Perez says that he will not look at driving options for the next 6 months and adds that "an interesting project" could bring him back. He added on that this move from Red Bull was completely unexpected by Checo and that he was shocked when he got the call being released from the team.

Villeneuve takes a dig at Verstappen
Former F1 driver Jacques Villeneuve has taken another dig at Max Verstappen while praising Lewis Hamilton and his move to Ferrari. He stated "Take Verstappen out of F1. Nobody cares. Take Hamilton out of F1, people care. So yes, it is the biggest signing. And Ferrari is also one of the biggest brands in the world, if not the biggest. So put the two together, yeah, of course, it's amazing." These comments were all in response to Flavio Briatore criticizing Ferrari for bringing on Lewis Hamilton for the 2025 season.

Toyota's first Haas contribution
With Haas commencing testing in Jerez, Toyota's first technical contribution to their new car has been revealed. The reveal... the actual ability to DO private testing before the season. This is the first time since Haas joined the grid in 2016 it has been able to conduct private testing as rules dictate that F1 teams cannot conduct testing on older cars. They are also conducting this testing with not only Bearman and Ocon BUT Japanese Test Driver, Ritomo Miyata.
