Brundle slams Newey's 'disgracefully underpaid' £30m deal
Adrian Newey is set to earn a massive salary at Aston Martin, reportedly around $25 million per year, with potential bonuses pushing the total to £30 million. Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll has made Newey the highest-paid member of the team, even surpassing most F1 drivers' salaries. He will join as a managing technical partner and shareholder, with a contract that could last longer because of his ownership stake. Lawrence Stroll, Aston Martin's owner, won the bidding for Newey at a lower price, with big bonuses possible if the team does well. Martin Brundle called Newey "disgracefully underpaid," Ted Kravitz agreed, saying it's a bargain.
