Toronto Track Map

General Admission

*There are large general admission sections along the entirety of Lakeshore Boulevard (near Turn 3 grandstand) and at Turn 1 near the pits, but you really can stand anywhere.*

Big Screen: Depends on location - you can choose to stand near one (noted below in Grandstands)
Covered: No, unless you find tree coverage
Numbered Seating: No

General Admission Notes

As a general admission ticketholder, you have access to a TON of viewpoints around the circuit... as with many IndyCar races (especially street courses) you can stand anywhere that security allows you to. These tickets do NOT have reserved seating or specific sections that you can visit, but the 'designated' General Admission sections are along Lakeshore Boulevard and Turn 1. There is little to no coverage from the sun anywhere around the track. That being said, you have enough freedom that you may be able to find shade, or head over to the main concessions areas near Turn 11, for shade. You can sit or stand during any of the sessions and have access to large GA areas.

In order to access screens and speakers, you should choose a General Admission section near a grandstand (locations will be denoted below). There are restrooms that can be found around all of the grandstands and food is generally concentrated near Turn 11, so if you choose to stand along Lakeshore Boulevard, you may want to pick up food before you go. The pedestrian bridges are easy to access, but expect a lot of foot traffic.

Grandstands

Turn 3 Grandstand

Big Screen: Yes
Covered: No
Numbered Seating: Yes

The Turn 3 Grandstands are located directly on the entrance of Turn 3 of the Toronto IndyCar street course with views of the long straight on Lakeshore Boulevard and the entrance of Turn 3. Please, note that the rows start at Row 5 and go up to Row 25 with two sections - A or B.

There are restrooms directly behind this grandstand, but there are no food and beverage options and it is the furthest grandstand from the entrance (about 15 minute walk). It is still worth buying tickets in this section, though! There is often on-track drama and overtaking opportunities in this section of the track.

GOLD TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 3 Grandstand Gold - Section B Row 24
Toronto IndyCar Turn 3 Grandstand Gold - Section B Row 24

Gold Tier are the seats in the upper 10 rows of the Turn 3 Grandstand - Rows 15 - 25 and are considered better views and therefore more expensive than silver tier rows. This section is split into A and B with A on the right side of the grandstand closest to Turn 3, and B on the left side of the grandstand closest to the trees. If you are purchasing tickets in either Gold or Silver sections, aim for Section A due to the trees that obscure your view down the straight (as pictured above). However, if you are in the upper rows, you will be able to catch spotters communicating with drivers!

SILVER TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 3 Grandstand Silver - Section A Row 10
Toronto IndyCar Turn 3 Grandstand Silver - Section A Row 10

Silver Tier are the seats in the lower 10 rows of the Turn 3 Grandstand - Rows 5 - 15 and are considered 'worse' views and therefore less expensive than gold tier rows. However, with the images above, we believe that you will have a better view in silver than gold. This section is split into A and B with A on the right side of the grandstand closest to Turn 3, and B on the left side of the grandstand closest to the trees. If you are purchasing tickets in either Gold or Silver sections, aim for Section A due to the trees that obscure your view down the straight. However, in the lower rows, the only obstruction will be the catch fencing.

Turn 10 Grandstand

Big Screen: No, but there are speakers
Covered: No
Numbered Seating: Yes

The Turn 10 Grandstand is located between Turns 9 and 10 of the Toronto IndyCar Street Course. You will have a view of Turn 9, Turn 10, parts of 11, and the pit lane entry/ further part of the pit lane depending on your section. This is a larger grandstand than Turn 10 - spanning 4 sections (A - D). It is also the only grandstand on the outside of the track - meaning you do not have to cross crowded pedestrian bridges to reach it.

This grandstand is also very close to the podium for post- race celebrations and the Enercare Center - which you can enter for air conditioning, shade, and 'nicer' restrooms than the port-a-potties you will find around the circuit. There are multiple food and drink areas in this part of the track that you will be sharing with many other guests, so expect long lines. It is also located adjascent to the Gate 2 entrance - which is home to all Toronto public transportation.

GOLD TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Gold - Section A Row 20
Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Gold - Section A Row 20

Gold Tier are the seats in the upper 7 rows of the Turn 10 Grandstand - Rows 18 - 25 and are considered better views and therefore more expensive than silver tier rows and bronze tier lower rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to Turn 9 and Section D directly on Turn 10, looking down the straight. These higher rows give you a great vantage point of the turns, but you will lose some visibility with the Ontario Honda Dealers bridge into Turn 11.

SILVER TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Silver - Section C Row 12
Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Silver - Section C Row 12

Silver Tier are the seats in the Middle 7 rows of the Turn 10 Grandstand - Rows 11 - 17 and are considered mid-tier views and therefore more expensive than bronze tier rows but less expensive than gold tier upper rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to Turn 9 and Section D directly on Turn 10, looking down the straight. As you can see in the photo, you actually have the best vantage point of this section from the middle ofthe grandstand (so, Section B/C and Silver Rows). Not only will you still have a clear view of Turns 9 and 10, because you are slightly lower, you will have a view of Turn 11 that is not obstructed by the bridge.

BRONZE TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Bronze - Section D Row 10
Toronto IndyCar Turn 10 Grandstand Bronze - Section D Row 10

Bronze Tier are the seats in the Lower 10 rows of the Turn 10 Grandstand - Rows 1 - 10 and are considered the 'worst' views and therefore the cheapest option compared to bronze and gold tiered rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to Turn 9 and Section D directly on Turn 10, looking down the straight. Unlike silver tiers, Bronze tier is actually a worse view because of catch fencing and equipment - it will be harder to see far down the pit lane and the exit of turn 10 into turn 11. Similarly, you can see that Section D has a very obstructed and 'pushed back' view as compared to A - C of the straight into Turn 11 and the pit lane.

Turn 11 Grandstand (A-D)

Big Screen: Yes, small, but central to the grandstand - there are speakers
Covered: No
Numbered Seating: Yes

The Turn 11 SECTIONS A-D Grandstand is located on the entrance of Turn 11 FACING the straight, of the Toronto IndyCar Street Course. You will have a view of Turn 11, pit lane exit, parts of the pit lane, and the Princes' Boulevard straight. This is the first of TWO Turn 11 Grandstands that are perpendicular to each other. The difference between these two is your section letter, so make sure that you select the correct Turn 11 Grandstand when buying.

At this section of Turn 11 Grandstands, the LETTER sections are much more important to your viewing experience than Gold, Silver, and Bronze row tiers. In Section A, you will have only a view of a small section of the straight and the entrance to turn 11 - due to the obstruction of the pedestrian bridge. In Section B, especially as you get closer to Section C, you will have a view of the end of the straight and more of Turn 11. Sections C and D will give you the best views in this section - to your left you will see the straight (less obstructed by pedestrian bridge) and Turn 11 will be directly in front of you.

This grandstand is also very close to food and beverage options in Exhibition Place and just across the pedestrian bridge from the paddock and air-conditioned Enercare Center. There are restrooms, as well, directly behind the grandstand as well as the N05 Energy Drink Station.

GOLD TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand - Section A Row 18
Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand Gold - Section B Row 18

Gold Tier are the seats in the upper 7 rows of the Turn 10 Grandstand - Rows 13 - 20 and are considered better views and therefore more expensive than silver tier rows and bronze tier lower rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to the straight and Section D directly on Turn 11, looking down the straight. These higher rows give you a great vantage point of Turn 11, but the Honda Dealer's walking bridge blocks most of your view back to the straight and Turn 10.

SILVER TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand Silver - Section D Row 10
Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand Silver - Section D Row 10

Silver Tier are the seats in the Middle rows of the Turn 11 Grandstand - Rows 7 - 12 and are considered mid-tier views and therefore more expensive than bronze tier rows but less expensive than gold tier upper rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to the straight and Section D directly on Turn 11, looking down the straight. As you can see in the photo, the lower that you get in the section, the more obstructed your view will be due to very high catch fencing and the Honda Dealers walking bridge. Unlike Turn 10 Grandstands, the higher tier (Gold) is worth spending a bit more than Silver.

BRONZE TIER

Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand Bronze - Section A Row 7
Toronto IndyCar Turn 11 (A-D) Grandstand Bronze - Section A Row 7

Bronze Tier are the seats in the Lower 6 rows of the Turn 11 Grandstand - Rows 1 - 6 and are considered the 'worst' views and therefore the cheapest option compared to bronze and gold tiered rows. This section is split into A - D with Section A closest to the straight and Section D directly on Turn 11, looking down the straight. Similar to the Silver Tiered seats in this section, you will have a decently obstructed view of the track due to heavy catch fencing. The only seats that are slightly 'better' are in Section A and the left side of Section B because you can see a bit more of the straight below the Honda Dealers walking bridge.

Turn 11 Grandstand (E-O)

Big Screen: Yes, on either end of the grandstand (left and right)
Covered: No
Numbered Seating: Yes

The Turn 11 SECTIONS E-O Grandstand is located on the Exit of Turn 11 PARALLEL to the straight, of the Toronto IndyCar Street Course. You will have a view of Turn 11, pit lane exit, parts of the pit lane, paddock club, and the Princes' Boulevard straight. This is the second of TWO Turn 11 Grandstands that are perpendicular to each other. The difference between these two is your section letter, so make sure that you select the correct Turn 11 Grandstand when buying.

There is less of a dramatic view difference by sections in this part of the Turn 11 Grandstands as compared to the Turn 11 A-D Grandstand. From Sections H through O, you will have an unobstructed view of the track in front of you. However, if you're sitting in sections E, F, and G - you're basically staring at the other Turn 11 Grandstand (in the first picture below, you will see that to your left, that is just a regular road and not the track at all). Sections I - K will have the most direct view of Turn 11, pit lane exit, and the straight, while L - O will have a view of the exit of Turn 11, the pit lane exit, and the start of the Start/Finish Straight.

If you sit in sections M - O, you will likely be able to see the start/finish line if you turn to your right.

This grandstand is also very close to food and beverage options in Exhibition Place and just across the pedestrian bridge from the paddock and air-conditioned Enercare Center. There are restrooms, as well, directly behind the grandstand as well as the N05 Energy Drink Station.

GOLD TIER

IndyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Gold - Section F Row 24
IndyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Gold - Section F Row 24

Gold Tier are the seats in the upper 7 rows of the Turn 11 Grandstand - 18 - 25 and are considered better views and therefore more expensive than silver tier rows and bronze tier lower rows. This section is split into E - O with Section E closest to the outside part of the track and facing the other Turn 11 Grandstand and Section O directly on the start/finish straight and pit lane exit. These higher rows give you a better vantage point of Turn 11 and the straight, but the section matters a bit more than your row tier due to the length of the grandstand.

SILVER TIER

IndyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Silver - Section N Row 10
IndyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Silver - Section N Row 10

Silver Tier are the seats in the Middle rows of the second Turn 11 Grandstand - Rows 10 - 17 and are considered mid-tier views and therefore more expensive than bronze tier rows but less expensive than gold tier upper rows. This section is split into E - O with Section E closest to the outside part of the track and facing the other Turn 11 Grandstand and Section O directly on the start/finish straight and pit lane exit. Unlike the other Turn 11 Grandstand, Silver rows are not heavily obstructed by the catch fencing (because this grandstand is taller and longer). The view will be comparable to gold with only slight obstructions in N and O looking back up to Turn 11.

BRONZE TIER

INdyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Bronze - Section I Row 4
IndyCar Toronto Turn 11 Grandstand E - O Bronze - Section I Row 4

Bronze Tier are the seats in the lower rows of the Turn 11 Grandstand - Rows 1 - 9 and are considered the 'worst' views and therefore the cheapest option compared to bronze and gold tiered rows. This section is split into E - O with Section E closest to the outside part of the track and facing the other Turn 11 Grandstand and Section O directly on the start/finish straight and pit lane exit. Your view may or may not be obstructed by catch fencing depending on what section you sit in. Sections E - I will actually have a better view than gold/silver in this grandstand because you can see back down the straight unobstructed by the Honda Dealers walking bridge (pictured above). As the grandstand continues down the straight, the catch fencing will obstruct your view because the seats are much closer to the fence.
