The Best Fan Zones and Events at the Brazilian GP

Are you heading to Interlagos for the Brazilian Grand Prix? Make sure you don't miss out on the activities and events happening on and off track all weekend long

We are heading back to Interlagos to close out the second last triple header of the season. The Mexico City Grand Prix was an action packed race weekend that saw the standings shift with Ferrari overtaking Red Bull for the constructors championship. The Autódromo José Carlos Pace is a circuit that is known for its excitement on and off the track. Fans can expect numerous interactive activities to take place within the fan zone at the circuit as well as some live entertainment performances.

This is the first year that the Brazilian Grand Prix is hosting the F1 Fan Zone at the circuit, so be sure to check out all of the events to ensure you don't miss out on any of the action at the track!

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Friday November 1st to Sunday November 3rd.

Despite Brazil usually signifying the end of the Formula 1 season, the drivers and fans always look forward to it. The Brazilian Grand Prix, also known as the São Paulo Grand Prix, is held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in Interlagos, Brazil. This circuit is renowned for hosting a few of the most historical on track battles and being home to some of the most famous and celebrated Formula 1 racing drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Emerson Fittipaldi. Fernando Alonso just celebrated his 400th race start at the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix, and says that he always looks forward to racing in Brazil as it is where he was crowned the 2005 World Drivers Champion.

F1 Fan Zone

This is the first year that the Autódromo José Carlos Pace will be hosting the F1 fan zone in Interlagos. It will be located near the sectors N, H, R, G and lastly, the Porto Grandstand. Fans who have tickets for these sections will be able to access the fan zone free of charge, but if you are seated outside these sections, you'll have to purchase a ticket separately.

The F1 fan zone will have the usual activities such as sim racing, pit stop challenge and live music performances.

Fans who can enter for FREE

  • Sector R
  • Sector G
  • Porto Grandstand

Any fan who has a ticket outside of these sectors will have to purchase another ticket to access the fan zone.

The F1 racing simulator is always a fan favorite activity at the track. You can race against your friends and compete in competitions all day long. At the end of the day, there are competitions between the top 10 drivers of the day where there is a chance to win different prizes! The pit stop challenge allows you to test your capabilities and see how fast you would be able to change an F1 tire. It is much more challenging than people expect and is a great way for fans to gain even more of an appreciation of the pit crews' skills. The blast lane is the last interactive activity where fans are able to get a sense of how it feels to be in a Formula 1 car by sitting in a wind tunnel.

Driver's Engagement Fan Zone

The Drivers' Engagement Fan Zone will be located within the F1 Fan zone. Fans can expect drivers and team member appearances from each of the ten Formula 1 teams. This is a great way to hear from your favorite teams and drivers and learn more about their thoughts and opinions on the race weekend!

Entertainment & Concerts

The São Paulo Grand Prix will be hosting a variety of musical performances over the course of the weekend. On the Friday of the race weekend, fans will have the chance to see one of Brazil's most famous samba performers, Jorge Aragao along with his musical group, Fundo de Quintal. On Saturday, fans can expect Brazilian DJ, Alok, to take to the the stage. He will be headlining the F1 fan zone stage at 17:00 once the on track sessions conclude. Lastly, on Sunday, fans will be able to celebrate the end of the race weekend by listening to the Samba Independente dos Bons Costumes (SIBC, who are a Rio-based musical group that highlight the art and culture of Brazil.
