The Best Events and Activities at the Dutch Grand Prix

We are FINALLY back from the summer break to kick off the second half of the season with the infamous Dutch Grand Prix! This popular race weekend takes place in the Netherlands, specifically in Zandvoort and it is a hub for any and all Max Verstappen fans considering it is his home race.

This year, the Grand Prix will run from Friday August 23rd to Sunday August 25th.

The Dutch Grand Prix is known for having one of the most exuberant fan atmospheres on the whole Formula 1 calendar. The main F1 Fan Zone located at Circuit Zandvoort is situated right behind the final corner of the circuit. Besides the main Fan Zone area, there are lots of other events taking place over the course of the race weekend.

F1 Fan Zone

‍

The F1 Fan Zone is situated right behind the final corner of Circuit Zandvoort. Fans can access it by entering through Gate 2, which is the main entry point for any race goers arriving by train.

Fans can expects tons of food and beverage options as well as this to be the location where they can purchase merchandise to support their favorite teams and drivers. There is also a large ferris wheel located in this area which fans can ride for a 360 view of the circuit. Keep in mind that it costs €6 per person and lines can vary depending on the session times

Super Friday

‍

Super Friday is the first day of on-track activities at the Dutch Grand Prix. Super Friday will kick off with an 'Official F1 Opening Show' which will take place on the main stage in the Fan Zone. Fans can expect appearances from the Red Bull Racing drivers as well as appearances from personnel at Aston Martin, Stake, McLaren and VISA Cash App RB.

It doesn't end there! Fans will be spoiled with a performance by Dutch artist Snollebollekes following the driver appearances. Later they can expect DJ performances by DJ Armin Van Buuren and the band DI-RECT. Any fans who are Friday ticket holders are able to attend the Super Friday events in the Fan Zone.
