Taking place at Hard Rock Stadium, the circuit is conveniently located between Miami proper and Fort Lauderdale. The Surf Club by Thomas Keller
Located within The Surf Club, a historic landmark developed by Harvey Firestone of the tire-making fortune in the 1930s, this Michelin star restaurant takes inspiration from the Miami of yesterday. Serving up modern interpretations of Continental cuisine, the food preparations are exquisite and the service is top notch. Arrive before your reservation to try a cocktail at the Champagne Bar and take in the glamour of the spaces. Reservations must be made in advance online, cocktail bars do accept walk-ins however hotel guests receive priority seating.
Classic Miami - Joe’s Stone Crabs
No trip to Miami is complete without a night at Joe’s in South Beach. Established in 1913, Joe's is celebrated for its legendary seafood offerings, with a particular focus on the eponymous stone crab claws. With a commitment to freshness, the restaurant follows the Stone Crab season opening in October and closing on May 1. If your itinerary allows you to arrive in Miami a few more days before the Grand Prix we highly recommend making a reservation during your time in South Beach - don’t forget to order the key lime pie!
Cuban Specialties - Versailles
You do not need to search far to find Cuban specialties in Miami. From arroz con pollo, fried plantains and cafcitos, there are no shortage of restaurants to try these dishes. For a tried and true experience, we recommended heading to Versailles which has been serving up iconic Cuban cuisine in Little Havana for over 50 years. Make not to miss their Cubano, a true collaboration between Cuban migrant workers and Floridians in the late 1800s and the early 20th century. This spin on the old ham and cheese is most often found simply with fresh Cuban bread, yellow mustard, roasted pork, baked ham, Swiss cheese, and sliced dill pickles. Open all day and late into the night, walk-in only.

Miami has no shortage of things to do; from outdoor recreation to sports and arts and culture, there really is an activity for every interest. The city has a long history of philanthropy which has supported many museums and cultural institutions. The influence of the annual Art Basel further established Miami as a center for contemporary art and helped support the thriving artistic community. Wynwood Walls
A once industrial neighborhood, Wynwood is now synonymous with must-see street and mural art. This ‘outdoor museum’ was spurred by the establishment of several art foundations in this former warehouse district (De La Cruz Collection, Rubell Museum). Artists were drawn to the Wynwood to create vibrant and thought-provoking murals and the rest is history. Spend the afternoon in Wynwood to enjoy the artwork, grab a drink, explore local boutiques and galleries featuring the work of local artists.
Perez Art Museum
The Perez Art Museum Miami, is Miami’s eminent contemporary art institution. Located on the shore of Biscayne Bay, the building was designed by world renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. Inside the museum you will find their permanent collection featuring works by artists such as Diego Rivera, Frank Stella, and Kehinde Wiley in addition to series of temporary exhibitions. The museum has a commitment to diversity and focuses on fostering a dialogue on global artistic perspectives. Art Deco Walking Tour
Embarking on an Art Deco walking tour in Miami promises a captivating journey through one of the most iconic and well-preserved architectural treasures in the United States. The city's historic Art Deco Historic District in South Beach boasts a kaleidoscope of pastel-colored buildings adorned with sleek lines and geometric patterns from the 1920s and 1930s. The Miami Design Preservation League offers daily tours of the Art Deco district in South Beach. During the 90 minute walking tour, learn more about the different architectural styles found within the historic district such as Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern (MiMo).
