Norris takes the victory in Singapore ahead of Verstappen and Piastri

After an exciting few days of lead up, the drivers finally took to the track for the Singapore Grand Prix. Lando Norris started on pole ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Was he able to hold on to the lead? See what happened:

• It's lights out and away we go! Lando Norris held on to his lead ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton
  • This was a success for the Brit as he has a track record of losing the lead on lap one when he starts on pole
• Sergio Perez was able to move up into P10 after he started in P13
• Alex Albon had a moment on the radio where he was complaining about his teammate, Franco Colapinto
  • This is normally out of character for Albon, but he wasn't too happy that Colapinto got by him
• Lando Norris extends his lead ahead of Verstappen which is very important for the Drivers World Championship standings
• Alex Albon had to retire the car on Lap 15 after it overheated and had a cooling issue
• Charles Leclerc was stuck behind Nico Hulkenberg for a long period of time - he was finally able to get past the Haas on Lap 29
• Lando Norris pitted on Lap 31 and came out back in the lead ahead of his teammate
• Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly were the only two drivers left to pit
  • They both pitted on Lap 39 - Gasly went on the softs and Piastri went on the hards
• After a disappointing qualifying, Daniel Ricciardo was having a good race but ultimately had to let his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda through on Lap 42
• Piastri has gotten past both Mercedes drivers to put himself into P3 behind Max Verstappen
• Lando Norris clipped the wall lightly on Lap 49 but was able to avoid any damage to his car
• Kevin Magnussen reported a puncture and had to pit for softs on Lap 51
• Charles Leclerc was able to move up from P9 to finish in P5 after a terrible qualifying session
• Daniel Ricciardo pitted on the second last lap of the race to try and take the fastest lap
• Lando Norris was able to win the Singapore Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri
