After a short FP3, the drivers took to the track for qualifying... See who put it on pole in Zandvoort
The drivers only had about ten minutes of FP3 to get on track and test the conditions. See who was able to put it on pole in Zandvoort:
- Logan Sargeant had a massive crash in FP3 which prevented him from participating in qualifying
- Both of the Stake drivers had some difficulty as Guanyu Zhou finished the session in P19 and Valtteri Bottas finished in P18
- Esteban Ocon had a poor qualifying, being out-qualified by his teammate and finishing the session in P17
- The track where Daniel Ricciardo broke his wrist last year is still giving him trouble, the Australian was unable to make it out of Q1 and will start in P16
- Q2 was very exciting and there were some shock eliminations
- Carlos Sainz has been on the back foot this entire weekend after missing FP2 due to gear box issues
- Sainz finished the session in P11, just missing out on Q3
- Lewis Hamilton finished the session in P12 to the surprise of everyone
- Both of the Haas drivers missed out on Q3 with Kevin Magnussen finishing in P15 and Nico Hulkenberg finishing in P14
- Lando Norris claimed pole ahead of Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri
