The qualifying sessions this season have not disappointed once! See who put it on pole at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, who collected a penalty, and who is starting at the back of the grid for the Spanish Grand Prix:
- Q1 kicked off strong with some very close times and margins
- Despite performing well in FP3, Alex Albon was eliminated and finished the session in P19 ahead of his teammate Logan Sargeant who finished in P20
- Both of the VCARB drivers also had a poor session with Daniel Ricciardo finishing in P18 and Yuki Tsunoda finishing just ahead in P17
- Guanyu Zhou made it into Q2 but was only able to put his car in P15
- Q2 saw some disappointment for both Aston Martin drives with Lance Stroll finishing in P14 and Fernando Alonso just missing out on Q3 to finish the session in P11
- Valtteri Bottas had a good lap and put his car in P12 for the race on Sunday
- Q3 was very exciting with all the drivers giving it their all
- Oscar Piastri struggled with track limits and was only able to put his McLaren in P10
- Pierre Gasly had a great qualifying and put his Alpine in P7
- Lando Norris claimed pole in Barcelona ahead of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton
