Find out how the teams are looking after FP1 at the first street race on the calendar
Teams maximized their first hour on the high speed streets of Jeddah. Here's what you need to know:
- Aston Martin's Lance Stroll made contact with the barrier, damaging the front wing and removing the wheel cover. Garage mechanics had trouble removing the wheel and Bernie Sanders suspected suspension damage
- Esteban Ocon and Lewis Hamilton made clear over team radios that they were suffering from bouncing, while Charles Leclerc noted "the track is like Mario Kart. There's a pin everywhere. There's like plastic bags everywhere" as he fought to dodge garbage floating onto the track
- In the end, Max Verstappen set the fastest team, beating Fernando Alonso and teammate Sergio Perez by 0.2s
