This sprint race was anything but boring! Find out which teams are looking strong before the race on Sunday
*Valtteri Bottas received a three place grid penalty which moved Logan Sargeant up into 18th position and Alex Albon into the pit lane
The Sprint race was action packed right from the start! Find out who performed well and who struggled in Miami:
- Logan Sargeant and Yuki Tsunoda were the only drivers to start on the soft tires while everyone else started on the mediums
- Lando Norris and Lance Stroll retired after a lap one incident also involving Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso
- This brought out the safety car which lasted for the first three laps of the race
- Kevin Magnussen received 36 seconds worth of time penalties resulting in an 18th place finish
- Lewis Hamilton also picked up a time penalty for speeding in the pit lane behind the safety car
- Both of the Racing Bulls drivers performed very well with Yuki Tsunoda finishing in 8th position and Daniel Ricciardo finishing in 4th
- Mercedes had a terrible race wth Lewis Hamilton finishing in 17th and George Russell finishing in 12th
- Max Verstappen claimed the victory with Charles Leclerc finishing in second and Sergio Perez finishing in third
