It was a quick turnaround between the Sprint Race and Qualifying... Find out which drivers will be starting at the front of the grid for Sunday's race
The drivers and teams didn't have too much time to regroup after the Sprint Race. Let's see which drivers are looking strong for Sunday's Grand Prix:
- Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou didn't have the best qualifying session with Bottas finishing in 16th and Zhou finishing in 20th
- After an incredible sprint race, Daniel Ricciardo was only able to put his car in P18 for Sunday's Grand Prix
- Logan Sargeant was disappointed after finishing the session in 17th in front of his home crowd
- Q2 was not one of Aston Martin's best qualifying days with Lance Stroll finishing in 11th and Alonso finishing in 15th
- Alex Albon had a moment that brought out the double waved yellow flags, but he was able to produce a lap that put him in 14th
- Pierre Gasly out-qualified his teammate, Esteban Ocon, by one position to come in 12th
- Nico Hulkenberg continues to make it into Q3 and perform well for Haas despite the announcement of him heading to Sauber in 2025
- Mercedes continues to struggle with both of their drivers being beaten by the McLarens, Red Bulls and Ferraris
- The McLaren drivers looked strong the entire session with Lando Norris finishing in 5th and Oscar Piastri finishing in 6th ahead of the Mercedes drivers
- Max Verstappen claimed his seventh pole of the season ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz
