The ups and downs of Bearman's new role
Ollie Bearman is set to replace the suspended Kevin Magnussen at the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which presents both opportunities and challenges. Unlike his previous one-off for Ferrari, Bearman will have more practice time but faces a more difficult situation with Haas. Although Bearman has performed well in previous practice sessions and has a solid track record in junior formulas, Haas's current position in the middle of the pack and lack of clear podium aspirations mean the pressure will be different. This experience will be crucial for Bearman as he prepares for a full-time F1 role in 2025 and aims to make a strong impression with Haas.
