Aston Martin F1 boss Mike Krack said the team’s "door is always open" to Max Verstappen following rumors of interest in the Red Bull driver. This came after Aston Martin announced that Adrian Newey, the key designer behind Red Bull's success, will join them as Managing Technical Partner in 2025. Since Newey’s designs helped Verstappen win three championships, people believe Aston Martin might try to sign him in the future. Campos Racing has confirmed Arvid Lindblad as their first driver for the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season. Lindblad finished fourth in his rookie Formula 3 season with PREMA Racing, winning four races, including a historic sweep at Silverstone. Before that, he raced in Italian F4, where he finished third overall. Both Lindblad and Team Principal Adrián Campos Jr are excited and focused on getting him ready for a strong debut in F2.

The FIA has confirmed 16 big changes to the Baku street circuit for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, like new wall positions and fresh asphalt.
