F1 may combine Miami and Canada races

Formula One has been focusing on sustainability by rearranging the race calendar, with a recent proposal to combine the Miami and Canadian Grand Prix into a double-header. Currently, the U.S. races and Canada are spaced out, which hinders efforts to reduce carbon emissions due to frequent long-haul travel. Red Bull's dominance under Adrian Newey's design leadership in the RB8 had put Alonso's title hopes at risk despite his conviction in his own abilities. Now, with Aston Martin poised to benefit from Newey's expertise in the 2026 F1 regulations, Alonso sees this as his final shot at securing a long-awaited third world championship, a feat that has eluded him since his back-to-back wins in 2005 and 2006.

Hulkenberg still baffled by Ferrari’s 2014 decision

Nico Hulkenberg doesn’t know why Ferrari chose Kimi Raikkonen instead of him for the 2014 F1 season. Even though he had a great 2013 with Sauber, Ferrari went with Raikkonen after talks with Hulkenberg. He has asked Stefano Domenicali for an explanation but only gets told to come back later. Despite missing Ferrari, Hulkenberg has raced for teams like Renault and will join Audi in 2026.
