Mercedes to get Ferrari engineers early in swap deal

Loic Serra and Jerome D'Ambrosio are leaving Mercedes to join Ferrari, while Simone Resta and Enrico Sampo from Ferrari will now join Mercedes earlier than planned due to an agreement between the two teams, with their start date set for October 1st. F1 mulls rule change to address Magnussen's racing tactics

Formula 1 teams and the FIA are considering a rule change to address controversial tactics that have put Kevin Magnussen under scrutiny. Magnussen has acted as a rear-gunner for his teammate, earning multiple penalties for holding up rivals in races. The stewards in Miami suggested escalating penalties for repeat offenders, which prompted a discussion among team managers at the Imola Grand Prix. The F1 Sporting Advisory Committee will evaluate the matter, while Magnussen proposed that drivers be ordered to give back positions instead of receiving harsh penalties.

While Haas emerges as a potential destination, discussions are ongoing, and Bottas remains cautious about his prospects until a firm contract is secured.

Try not to laugh!

Williams drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant took part in the Try Not To Laugh challenge. They tried telling awful jokes and ended up laughing at different points. It was hard for them to stay still, especially when one asked a silly question, like how to get a country girl's attention.

What's going on with Magnussen?

Kevin Magnussen received 5 penalty points in Miami for various infractions, bringing his season total to 10 points. These 10 points have all been accumulated in the last 5 races. For reference, reaching 12 penalty points results in an automatic race ban. Since the system was introduced in 2014, no driver has reached this limit.
