The police have informed the Mercedes Formula 1 team that "no criminal offense" has occurred concerning claims that Lewis Hamilton is being "sabotaged" this season. The allegations came from an anonymous email suggesting internal tactics to disadvantage Hamilton as he prepares to move to Ferrari in 2025. Although the police found no evidence of a crime, they advised Mercedes to handle further emails.

Max Verstappen will debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 12th to 14th. He will drive his RB16B, the car in which he won the 2021 title, while other notable Red Bull figures, including Sergio Perez, Christian Horner, and several former drivers, will also participate. This is the first time an F1 team is celebrated on such a scale at the FOS, which will feature multiple cars and drivers from Red Bull's history. Other former Red Bull drivers, like Daniel Ricciardo and Mark Webber, will also be driving at the event.

Mick Schumacher, a former Haas driver and current Mercedes reserve, will test with Alpine next week at Paul Ricard while also competing in the World Endurance Championship with the team. His participation coincides with Alpine's deliberations over its 2025 driver lineup. Schumacher's test comes alongside fellow reserve driver Jack Doohan, whose chances seem to improve following Alpine's signing of his manager, Flavio Briatore, as an executive adviser.
