Aston Martin appoints ex-Mercedes engine boss as new CEO

The Aston Martin Formula 1 Team has appointed Andy Cowell as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2024. Cowell, a respected figure in Formula One engineering, will succeed Martin Whitmarsh, who is known for his contributions to the team's growth, including the AMR Technology Campus at Silverstone. Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman, commended Whitmarsh and welcomed Cowell, expressing confidence in his leadership as the team prepares for future success with Honda and Aramco partnerships.

Williams unveils special Union Jack livery for British GP

Williams has introduced a Union Jack livery for their FW46 ahead of the British Grand Prix, which features the names of all 1,005 team members. The design will be seen on the cars driven by Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, with Franco Colapinto also taking part in FP1. Jenson Button will drive his FW22 from his 2000 rookie season at Silverstone as part of the team's home race celebrations.
