McLaren Formula 1 team has partnered with Airwallex for the 2024 season, allowing Airwallex to handle McLaren's financial operations, including treasury management and cross-border payouts. This collaboration aims to enhance McLaren's payment capabilities for Grand Prix events by overcoming limitations in their existing payment infrastructure, which incurs high FX charges and additional fees. Airwallex's financial technology will enable multi-currency payment options for McLaren, reducing SWIFT fees through its global proprietary payment rail network. The partnership includes a prominent display of Airwallex's logo on the McLaren MCL38, driver overalls, and official branded material. CEO Zak Brown emphasizes the importance of efficiency in both on and off-track operations, while Airwallex CEO Jack Zhang sees the collaboration as supporting global expansion and mutual growth.

Verstappen, who started a Grand Prix at just 17, makes people wonder if he's really that much faster. And there's talk about whether the Red Bull car is made just for him.

Illman's take on Hamilton's bold move

Everyone's talking about it, and Kym Illman isn't going to be left out. When the Spanish and Italian media blew up the news that Hamilton would be heading to Ferrari in 2025, Kym was a little skeptical. However, when Sky Sports, a reputable news outlet, made it public, it was evident that the news itself was real. But who signs a deal in F1 this far out and allows it to be leaked to the media? That's definitely Hamilton.
