Haas equipment cleared for Italian GP

At the Dutch Grand Prix, Haas faced a unique issue when bailiffs attempted to seize its equipment due to a $12 million dispute with former sponsor Uralkali. The issue started after Uralkali was dropped as a sponsor due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict and wanted repayment for money paid before the 2022 season. Payment delays meant Haas' equipment couldn't leave Zandvoort. But Uralkali confirmed it received the payment and a 2021 Haas car, so Haas was then able to move its equipment to the Italian Grand Prix.

Wolff noted the big drop in performance compared to recent successes and said they need to investigate further. Hamilton also worried that the new upgrade might not be working as well as expected.

Verstappen flags balance issues

Max Verstappen has noticed that Red Bull's 2024 car has balance problems, which are hurting its performance. After being the fastest early in the season, McLaren's Lando Norris has now taken the lead, especially with his win at the Dutch Grand Prix. Verstappen said the car's handling issues began in May and have worsened, making it harder to drive and affecting tire wear. Despite these issues, Verstappen still leads the drivers' championship by 70 points, while McLaren is closing in on Red Bull in the constructors' standings.
