Alpine has confirmed that Jack Doohan will fill the second seat alongside Pierre Gasly in 2025. Jack, the 21-year-old son of five-time 500cc world champion Mick Doohan, has been Alpine's reserve driver since early 2023 and has extensive simulator experience. He will replace Esteban Ocon, who is moving to Haas amid reported tensions with Alpine.

McLaren brought six big upgrades to its F1 car at Zandvoort, the first major changes since Miami. These updates include a new brake scoop, revised front and rear suspensions, a new floor edge, a high-downforce rear wing, and an updated beam wing. Williams was fined €100 after Logan Sargeant slightly exceeded the 60 km/h pit lane speed limit by 0.5 km/h during FP1 at the Dutch Grand Prix. This penalty comes as Sargeant nears his last races with the team before Carlos Sainz replaces him in 2025.
