Vowles denies Sainz contract exit clauses

Williams team principal James Vowles has dismissed rumors that Carlos Sainz's contract includes exit clauses. Vowles stated that only a few people know the specifics of Sainz's contract and that any online speculation is false. Sainz asked for the contract to state a commitment through 2025 and beyond to show his dedication.

Can McLaren and Mercedes make a comeback?

Now that Red Bull no longer has the fastest car, Verstappen's rivals have a chance to come back. McLaren and Mercedes have won the last few races, reducing Red Bull's dominance. Verstappen leads Norris by 78 points, and Red Bull leads McLaren by 42 points in the constructors' standings. If Verstappen and Red Bull lose the championships, it would be a huge mid-season turnaround.

Why Red Bull's performance is declining

Red Bull won all the races in the first 14 rounds last year, but this season, they've only won 50% of them. Technical director Pierre Waché said their old wind tunnel and stronger rivals like McLaren and Mercedes are causing problems. He mentioned that Red Bull is better in slow and medium-speed corners but worse in high-speed corners this year. As a result, McLaren is now just 42 points behind in the constructors' championship.
