Christian Horner says Red Bull Powertrains won't be ready to provide engines to other teams when new regulations start in 2026. Red Bull and RB will use their own engines, developed in partnership with Ford for battery technology. The new rules will keep the 1600 cc V6 engine but will remove the MGU-H and tighten design constraints. Red Bull has been contacted by other teams but will first focus on its own teams and might consider partnerships later.

Haas Formula 1 boss Ayao Komatsu said that the team's better results this season convinced owner Gene Haas to invest in a big hiring spree. Komatsu took over as team principal after Gene Haas replaced Guenther Steiner because the team struggled last season. Even though expectations were low, Haas has already earned more points this season than all of last year. This success led Gene Haas to decide to expand the team's workforce to keep improving.

Michael Schumacher’s F2001b Ferrari, used at the start of the 2002 F1 season, will be auctioned at Sotheby’s Sealed’s Monterey Car Week from August 16-19, 2024. Schumacher drove this car to win the Australian Grand Prix and finish third in Malaysia before it was replaced by the F2002. There is no price listed yet, but similar Ferrari F1 cars driven by Schumacher have sold for millions, including £13 million for the F2003-GA in 2022. Past sales include £5 million for an F2002 and £5.5 million for an F2001.
