Australian Grand Prix Qualifying Results

Qualifying was no short of exciting! The margins were tight for pole and many drivers had their lap times deleted. Find out who is starting on the front of the grid:

• Carlos Sainz was looking strong the entire session
  • Sainz will start in P2 for the Grand Prix
• Daniel Ricciardo disappointed many Australian fans by missing out on Q2 because of a deleted lap time. He will start in 18th for the Grand Prix
• Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri had strong qualifying sessions with both of the McLarens making it into Q3
  • Norris will start in P3 (Perez was given a 3 place grid penalty)
  • Piastri will start in P5
• Lewis Hamilton had a shock Q2 elimination and will start the race in P11
• Pierre Gasly continued his struggles and was only able to put his Alpine in 17th despite his teammate making it into Q2 and finishing the session in P15

* Sergio Perez was given a 3 place grid penalty for impeding Nico Hülkenberg. Perez will now start the race in 6th place.
