Perez pushing too hard, Ocon and Tsunoda blazing ahead, and Max robbing Alonso
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Sergio Perez pushed too hard only 7 minutes into Q1 and slammed into the barrier. He red flagged the session and had his car lifted off the track
- Esteban Ocon and Yuki Tsunoda both had incredible outings, finishing P4 and P9, respectively
- Fernando Alonso nearly retained a pole position finish, with Max only dethroning him in the final seconds
